What is the cost to access 9-1-1 services?

Access to 9-1-1 emergency service is included in your no name rate plan. However, in some provinces or territories, an additional fee is charged and remitted to the provincial/territorial government at their request. This fee is included in the cost of your no name plan.

The additional monthly fee is as follows and remains subject to change:

• $0.55 Québec

• $0.43 Nova Scotia

• $0.70 PEI

• $0.97 New Brunswick

• $0.95 Alberta

• $0.75 Newfoundland and Labrador

• $3.00 Northwest Territories

• $2.17 Saskatchewan (Effective August 1, 2026, the 9-1-1 fee will increase from $2.17/mo. to $2.22/mo.)
